I love pork. I love bacon (who doesn’t). I love burgers. So why not put them all together? And while we’re at it, why not draw a little inspiration from my two-year-old daughter, Ella, and play dress up — because after all, is there anything more appealing than a cured pork belly sweater?
I’ve been searching for an excuse to wrap something in bacon and figured my first foray into the land of pork burgers was as good a time as any. Whenever you make something for the first time it’s always good to have a plan B (hence the post’s title). Luckily we didn’t have to fall back on our barbecue leftovers, because these beasts came out juicy, porky and down right delicious!
